A $100 Lowe's gift card pays ₦59,497 in Nigeria and ₵515.85 in Ghana on 1 November 2026. Both figures are printed rows on the live table, captured at 13:30 Lagos time. Nothing here is estimated.
That works out at ₦594.97 for every dollar of face value, or ₵5.16 in Ghana. That puts Lowe's near the bottom of this board. If you're holding one, the useful questions are how much of it turns into cash today, and whether selling it in one go beats splitting it.
The card has one published band, $100 to $500, and it's priced flat. Every dollar inside that band pays the same ₦594.97.
| Face value | Nigeria (₦) | Ghana (₵) |
|---|---|---|
| $100 | 59,497.00 | 515.85 |
| $200 | 118,993.20 | 1,031.69 |
| $300 | 178,489.80 | 1,547.54 |
| $500 | 297,483.00 | 2,579.23 |
The $100 and $500 lines are printed on the rate page. The $200 and $300 lines are worked out the way the site prices every other card: top of the band divided by top face value, then multiplied by your amount. So ₦297,483 ÷ $500 gives ₦594.97, and that times 200 gives ₦118,993.20.
Ghana publishes no reference line of its own, so compare cedis with cedis only. ₵2,579.23 ÷ $500 is ₵5.16 per dollar, and the whole band returns that figure.
Lowe's has no store in Nigeria or Ghana, so a Lowe's card here always arrives from somewhere else. A relative in Houston sends one, or someone finishes a renovation in Atlanta and is left with a balance they can't spend. Either way the card converts to money in a bank account.
A $100 Lowe's card is worth ₦59,497, because $100 is the first dollar of the only band this card has. There's no lower tier to fall into and no richer tier above it.
That single band matters more than it looks. On a two-band card, the same $50 voucher can pay two different amounts depending on which row it lands on. Lowe's doesn't have that problem. It has a different one: the rate is flat all the way up, so holding the card until you have $500 doesn't buy a better price per dollar.
Before you submit, get these in order:
Verification runs 15 to 30 minutes once the card is in. Money lands in a Lagos or Abuja bank account, or on MoMo in Accra or Kumasi.
The board carries 44 cards and 70 bands today. Twenty-nine of those cards carry a dollar band, and Lowe's ranks 26th on payout per dollar at ₦594.97.
Only three dollar cards pay less: Starbucks at ₦575.77 on its $50 - $500 band, Uber at ₦431.63, and Applebee's at ₦228.74. At the other end, offgamers and Wunschgutschein each pay ₦1,151.55 per dollar, close to double.
Set against the ₦1,345 reference line, ₦594.97 is 44.2%. That gap isn't a pricing error. Lowe's sells lumber, paint and appliances. A card like that is harder to move than one that buys groceries or games, so the buyer's margin has to cover the risk of holding it.
Sell it in one go. The band is flat, so splitting buys nothing and costs a couple of naira in rounding.
Five $100 cards pay ₦297,485. One $500 card pays ₦297,483. That's ₦2 apart, and the difference comes from the printed row being rounded to the nearest naira, not from a penalty. In cedis it's ₵0.02.
Splitting has one real use. If the card is $500 and you only need part of the money, sell the whole thing anyway. There's no partial redemption on this side of the table, and a $300 card plus a $200 card still totals ₦297,483.
What you can't do is go below $100. No printed row exists for a $25 or $50 Lowe's card, so no honest number exists for it either. Same above $500: the band stops there.
Both of those cards also run a $100 - $500 dollar band, so this is a like-for-like comparison.
| Card | $500 in Nigeria (₦) | $500 in Ghana (₵) |
|---|---|---|
| Lowe's | 297,483.00 | 2,579.23 |
| Costco | 403,041.00 | 3,494.44 |
| Amazon | 422,234.00 | 3,660.85 |
A $500 Costco card fetches ₦403,041, which is ₦105,558 more than the same face value at Lowe's. Amazon gets you ₦422,234, or ₦124,751 more. The cedis side keeps the same order: Costco pays ₵915.21 more than Lowe's, Amazon ₵1,081.62 more.
If you're holding both a Lowe's card and a Costco card, send the Costco one first. That gap is ₦211.12 per dollar of face value.
It isn't a reason to sit on the Lowe's card, though. Yesterday's snapshot printed ₦297,479 at the top of this band and today's prints ₦297,483. Four naira in a day. Waiting costs you months and buys you nothing.
Yes. The page lists USD cards only, and US-issued Lowe's cards are what it prices.
No printed rate exists for it. The band starts at $100, so a $50 card has no published payout today.
Verification takes 15 to 30 minutes. After that the payout goes to your bank account or mobile wallet.
It gets rejected. Confirm the full balance first, because a card with $180 left on a $200 face value won't clear at the $200 rate.
Start on the Lowe's card page and enter your exact face value. Check today's rates before you send anything, since the number moves. If you're also holding a Costco card, sell that one first. The full card list sits on the gift cards page.
