If you're holding a Roblox card you don't need, the balance can be naira in your bank account today. The awkward part is knowing what the card is worth before a buyer tells you. So here's what the board prints, and the numbers to hold against any quote you get.
The live board carries 28 brands across 44 rows. The figures below come from the snapshot taken at 16:04 CST on 23 September 2026, and the reference line printed with it reads 1 USD = ₦1,328.
Roblox appears on one band only, $50 to $500, paying ₦33,209 at the bottom and ₦332,093 at the top. Top of band divided by top face value gives ₦664.19 for every dollar, and your card is priced off that figure. A $100 card works out to roughly ₦66,419, a $200 card to ₦132,837, and a $300 card to ₦199,256.
Set against the other gaming cards, Roblox sits in the middle. Xbox is the floor at ₦456.96 a dollar. Google Play pays ₦730.60, PlayStation ₦797.02, Steam ₦823.59. Apple and iTunes hold the peak of every dollar row at ₦1,125.13, and that's the number worth remembering when an offer looks generous.

The per-dollar figures are the top of each band divided by the top face value, so they hold right across the band. Roblox's band is also flat, meaning a $50 card and a $500 card earn the same ₦664.19 on the dollar. Holding out for a bigger card doesn't buy you a better rate here.
Three routes, and each one brings a different question from the buyer.
The first is a gift. Someone in London or Atlanta sends a card, or drops the code into a WhatsApp message. Cards are issued for the country they were bought in, so a US card is a US product. Say where yours came from, because that decides who can use it.
The second is a purchase that didn't work out. A parent buys a $100 card for a birthday, the child's interest moves to a different game, and the card ends up in a drawer. That's the common case, and the easiest one to sell, since nothing has been redeemed yet.
The third is a giveaway or promo win, usually a smaller denomination. Those still clear, though the board only quotes Roblox from $50 up, so a $25 card gets priced by hand.
Every buyer runs the same check first, and you should run it yourself. Open the card on the issuer's site and confirm the balance is still whole. A code that's been redeemed shows nothing, and a card with a scratched strip or a bent corner is worth much less, because nobody wants to argue about it afterwards.
Keep the till receipt if you have it. It won't lift the ₦664.19 or whatever your band comes to, whatever anyone tells you. What it does is settle where the card came from, which keeps the whole thing short.
Then send the code only after you and the buyer have agreed the rate. Once it's gone, the card is gone.
Four things decide the number, and three of them are in your hands before you send anything.
The band matters less than you'd think on Roblox, because every dollar from $50 to $500 pays ₦664.19. Other cards are less even. Apple pays ₦1,089.26 on a $40 to $50 card and ₦1,125.13 on a $150 one, while Amazon's $100 to $500 band pays ₦650.90 against ₦664.19 on its smaller band. So ask which band the quote is built on, not just what the total is.
Currency comes next. Roblox is quoted in dollars only. Steam and Xbox are the only two cards on the board with pound, euro and Canadian rows as well, and each of those rows is priced on its own rather than converted from the dollar figure. A Roblox card issued in pounds has no printed row at all, so expect a hand-priced number rather than a board rate.
Then there's the format. A digital code you can read off a photo is verified in minutes. A physical card asks somebody to trust an unscratched strip, and that trust shaves a little off the rate.
Timing, the last one, is mostly noise. Across eight trading days of our own snapshots, Steam stayed inside a 1% range, and the published reference line only moved between ₦1,328 and ₦1,336. Waiting for a spike isn't a plan.
Gaming cards clear quickly, because a live code can be read and spent straight away. Roblox behaves the same way. Here's the full run.
Verification and payment together run 15 to 30 minutes. A $100 card brings ₦66,419 into a local account, which is one clean bank alert. The usual cause of a delay is a mismatch between the account name and the details you submitted, so sort that out before you start rather than halfway through. The cards that clear fastest are the ones that need the least back-and-forth, and an unredeemed Roblox code sits in that group.
Two patterns cost parents money every week, and both are easy to spot once you've read the board.
The first is a number above the ceiling. Nothing on the board pays more than ₦1,125.13 for a dollar of balance, and the reference line sits at ₦1,328. Anyone offering ₦1,400 a dollar is promising more naira per dollar than the market trades at, so a buyer who still has to make a margin can't fund it. If a stranger on WhatsApp mentions that figure, the offer isn't a rate, it's bait.
The second is a fee, in any name. Activation charge, clearance fee, tax, insurance, a charge to release your own money. Real buyers take their margin out of the rate they print. Two minutes of homework is enough. Open the live board, find Roblox beside the other gaming cards, and fix ₦664.19 in your head.
