A $200 Apple card pays ₦224,983.20 today. An Uber card isn't on the same board, and that's the whole problem with pricing one.
Uber credits sit locked to a ride-hailing account, usually in one region, so the buyer pool is narrow. That doesn't make the card worthless. It means the rate comes back as a quote rather than a printed number, and you need a reference point before you accept it.
Yes, and faster than the thin buyer pool suggests. Two groups buy them: people who travel to the US or UK regularly and top up an account before a trip, and small car-hire operators who use Uber Business for airport runs. Both want a card below face value, and both care more about the region than the balance.
What keeps the rate down is the same thing that keeps it steady. An Uber card only works where Uber operates and only on an account in the matching region. A gift card reader in Lagos can't spend a dollar Uber card on a Lagos trip, because the credit lives on the account it was added to, not on a card you can swipe.
So the demand is real but thin. Thin demand means fewer competing buyers, and fewer buyers means the quote lands under what a retail card of the same face value would fetch.

Read the Xbox row before you get your hopes up. It's the lowest dollar card on the board at ₦456.87 per dollar, and it still holds a much wider buyer pool than an Uber card does. If someone offers you more per dollar for an Uber card than Apple pays for an iTunes card, that offer is fake. There's no mechanism for it.
A $200 Apple card pays ₦224,983.20 while the same $200 on an Xbox card pays ₦91,374.80. That gap of ₦133,608.40 exists between two cards that both sell every day. Brand drives the rate far more than face value ever will.
Payout lands in a Nigerian bank account or by USSD for naira deals. Ghana payouts settle through MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash or AT Money. Both sides quote the same 15 to 30 minute window once your code clears verification.
Region of issue sits at the top of the list. A card bought in Ghana cannot be redeemed on a US account, and mixing them up is the most common reason a trade fails.
Then comes balance. A partially spent card is harder to verify and attracts a lower offer, so declare what's left. If you don't know the balance, check the app before you submit rather than guessing.
Proof of purchase covers the third slot. A receipt or the original confirmation email adds trust and often lifts the quote a little, because it removes the buyer's main risk.
Finally, account history. Cards connected to disputes or chargebacks get refused at verification, and no rate saves them. If you bought the card second-hand from someone in a Lagos traffic jam, expect questions.
