TikTok is the most used social app in Nigeria and Ghana, so codes that carry TikTok credit change hands constantly. What doesn't exist is a printed payout for them. That single fact changes how you sell one, and it's the part most pages get wrong.
Almost everything sold as a "TikTok gift card" falls into one of three buckets:
None of these behave like an Apple or Steam card. There is no payment network behind them, no printed face value in dollars, and no issuer that will confirm the balance on request. That is what decides the price.
A branded card carries a paper trail: an issuer, a receipt, a balance a buyer can check. A resold TikTok code carries none of that, so a buyer is pricing risk as much as value. Three things move the number in practice: the region the voucher was issued for, whether the coins have already been credited to an account, and how many of the same codes are circulating that week.
Open the rate table and you can count the brands yourself. TikTok isn't one of them, and it isn't in the card catalogue either.
The reason is the same one that keeps Vanilla and plain Visa cards off the printed list. The resale price moves with demand, and with how easy the code is to verify. A fixed figure published this morning can be wrong by tonight, so the price is quoted per order instead of printed.
That means there's no number to read before you commit. You ask for one. If a page gives you a hard TikTok rate without checking your code first, treat it as a guess.
It helps to know the range you're operating in. These are the published payouts from the GiftCash NG rate table, captured on 23 September 2026, shown as the amount you receive per 1 dollar of card face value:
| Card | Naira per $1 | Cedis per $1 |
|---|---|---|
| Apple / iTunes | ₦1,127 | ₵9.79 |
| Razer Gold | ₦1,051 | ₵9.13 |
| Steam | ₦825 | ₵7.17 |
| PlayStation | ₦798 | ₵6.93 |
| Google Play | ₦732 | ₵6.36 |
| Xbox | ₦458 | ₵3.98 |
Two things to read off that table. The naira and cedi columns are published separately, so they aren't conversions of each other. And the spread is wide: the top of the list pays about 2.5 times the bottom, for the same one dollar of face value.
The pattern behind the spread is how far the credit travels. A card that works across an entire ecosystem (Apple) sits at the top, a card that only works inside one store (Google Play, Xbox) sits at the bottom. TikTok credit travels no further than the TikTok app, which is why it normally prices below the branded retail cards rather than alongside them.
The codes are instant and irreversible, so the checks happen before, not after.
If your goal is simply cash, the fastest route is usually to sell a card that already has a printed price. Steam pays ₦825 per dollar and PlayStation pays ₦798, both with no quoting step, both payable in 15 to 30 minutes. A TikTok code has to be priced first, which adds a step but not a penalty.

If you are holding several codes at once, work through them in the order of what is already printed. Steam and PlayStation have numbers on the table today, so those two convert without a conversation. The TikTok code goes last, after the quote comes back. That order costs you nothing and removes the waiting from the part of the pile that has a known price.
