Today a $50 Steam card pays ₵364.23 in Ghana, a $50 Amazon card ₵293.74, and a $100 Apple card ₵986.96. Every figure below comes off the GiftCash NG rate table read on 6 October 2026, so you can price a card before you message a single vendor.
The Ghana table runs 42 payout bands across 28 card brands, all quoted in cedis. It refreshes daily, which matters, because the whole cedi table moved up about one percent overnight.
These are published bands, straight from the table. Nothing is rounded up.
| Card | Face value | You get (GHS) |
|---|---|---|
| Steam (USD) | $10 to $500 | ₵72.85 to ₵3,642.34 |
| Amazon | $50 to $500 | ₵293.74 to ₵2,878.62 |
| Apple | $40 to $500 | ₵385.38 to ₵4,975.90 |
| Google Play | $50 to $500 | ₵323.11 to ₵3,231.10 |
| Xbox (USD) | $10 to $500 | ₵40.42 to ₵2,020.91 |
| Razer Gold | $5 to $500 | ₵46.41 to ₵4,641.04 |
Amazon and Apple each carry more than one band, so the range above spans both of theirs. A $50 Amazon card sits in the cheaper band. A $400 card doesn't. That one detail decides your payout, and it's the first thing to check before you agree a number.
The table splits into 27 bands priced in US dollars and 15 in pounds or euros. Those two groups don't rank against each other. An Airbnb card quoted at ₵10.93 per pound and an Apple card at ₵9.95 per dollar are separate prices, not first and second place.
These are the exact amounts buyers ask about, so here they are card by card. Steam's dollar band is priced as a straight line from $10 to $500, so any amount inside it is a plain multiple of ₵7.28 per dollar.
| Card | Face value | You get (GHS) |
|---|---|---|
| Steam | $50 | ₵364.23 |
| Steam | $100 | ₵728.47 |
| Amazon | $50 | ₵293.74 |
| Apple | $50 | ₵481.73 |
| Apple | $100 | ₵986.96 |
| Xbox | $100 | ₵404.18 |
The $50 Amazon figure is the published floor of its $50 to $100 band, so it isn't a guess. The same goes for the $100 Apple number, which is the floor of the $100 to $150 band. The $50 Apple card is the top of the $40 to $50 band, because Apple doesn't list anything below $40.
Steam and Xbox figures are worked out by dividing a band's top endpoint by its top face value, then multiplying by the card you hold. Both price flat, so a $25, $200 or $400 card carries the same per-dollar number.
Strip out the face value and you get a clean ranking. Among the cards priced in US dollars, these are the leaders on 6 October.
| Card and band | Cedis per $1 |
|---|---|
| Apple, iTunes ($150 to $500) | ₵9.95 |
| Apple, iTunes ($100 to $150) | ₵9.87 |
| Apple, iTunes ($40 to $50) | ₵9.63 |
| one4all ($100 to $500) | ₵9.63 |
| Razer Gold, Lululemon, Nordstrom | ₵9.28 |
| Sephora ($100 to $500) | ₵8.81 |
| Steam ($10 to $500) | ₵7.28 |
| Xbox ($10 to $500) | ₵4.04 |
Apple and iTunes hold the top of the dollar rows, and they pay more per dollar as the card gets bigger. The $150 to $500 band works out 3.3 percent stronger than the $40 to $50 band. Xbox is the other end of the shelf. A $100 Xbox card brings ₵404.18, against ₵986.96 for the same $100 as an Apple card.
A $200 face value is the cleanest way to compare two traders' cards, because it lands inside a single band on every card here. Same day, same table:
| Card at a $200 face value | You get (GHS) |
|---|---|
| Apple ($150 to $500 band) | ₵1,990.36 |
| Razer Gold | ₵1,856.42 |
| Steam | ₵1,456.94 |
| PlayStation | ₵1,409.94 |
| Google Play | ₵1,292.44 |
| Amazon ($100 to $500 band) | ₵1,151.45 |
| Xbox | ₵808.36 |
Apple pays ₵1,990.36 for that card and Xbox pays ₵808.36, a gap of ₵1,182.00 on the same face value. That spread is the resale market at work, not a fee taken at checkout.
Two cautions before you read any of it as a shopping list. The ranking only covers dollar-priced cards, and pound or euro cards run on their own numbers. The cedi view also doesn't publish an official reference line, so don't take a cedi amount and a naira amount, subtract one from the other, and call the gap a fee.
Payout in Ghana runs on the rails you already use. MTN MoMo is the common one, Telecel Cash and AT Money sit behind it, and bank transfer works for larger sums.
Have the card's code, its PIN and your MoMo number ready before you start. The published window is 15 to 30 minutes once an order is confirmed. Sellers in Accra, Kumasi and Tema run the same four steps, and the mobile money versus bank transfer comparison covers which route clears faster for your amount.
If you'd rather see the arithmetic before you commit, the cedis calculator turns a face value into an expected payout.
Denomination. It moves the number for some cards and not others. Apple pays more per dollar as the card gets bigger. Amazon goes the other way, at ₵5.87 per dollar on the $50 to $100 band and ₵5.76 on the $100 to $500 band. Steam, Xbox, Google Play, PlayStation and Roblox all price flat.
Currency of issue. The printed table prices dollar cards. A UK pound or euro card goes through a per-order quote instead, so it won't match these numbers. Steam and Xbox are the only two cards on the table priced in four currencies, and each currency carries its own rate.
The day. Rates refresh, so read the table on the morning you sell. Steam went from ₵7.20 per dollar on 5 October to ₵7.28 today, a little over one percent in a day.
Where you sell. A published rate is what a licensed buyer works from, not an opening bid. Anyone promising well above it, or asking for a deposit before payout, is running the usual advance-fee script. The Steam payout walkthrough shows how a real order is priced from code to cash.
