Three cards on the GiftCash NG board carry a Canadian dollar band today: Steam, Xbox and Uber. A C$100 Steam card fetches ₦74,882.60 in Nigeria and ₵649.70 in Ghana, priced from the 4 November 2026 rates captured at 14:41 WAT. Here's what each CAD band pays, what C$50 is worth, and why the Canadian column doesn't simply track the US column.
Only three of the 44 cards on the board list a CAD band. Steam and Xbox both open at C$10 and stop at C$500. Uber opens at C$100, so small Uber cards have no price at all.
That leaves 41 brands where a Canadian card cannot be quoted. If your card isn't in the table below, the rate page has nothing for it today.
| Card | C$100 in naira | C$100 in cedis |
|---|---|---|
| Steam | ₦74,882.60 | ₵649.70 |
| Xbox | ₦67,202.40 | ₵583.07 |
| Uber | ₦61,442 | ₵533.09 |
Steam pays the most per Canadian dollar, at ₦748.83 and ₵6.50. Xbox pays ₦672.02 and ₵5.83. Uber pays ₦614.42 and ₵5.33.
Those per-unit figures come from the top of each band, divided by the top face value. A C$500 Steam card is printed at ₦374,413, and 374,413 divided by 500 gives the ₦748.83 you see above.
A C$50 Steam card gets you ₦37,441.30 in Nigeria and ₵324.85 in Ghana. The same face value on Xbox lands on ₦33,601.20 and ₵291.53.
| Card | C$50 in naira | C$50 in cedis |
|---|---|---|
| Steam | ₦37,441.30 | ₵324.85 |
| Xbox | ₦33,601.20 | ₵291.53 |
Uber doesn't appear in that table, and that's the point. Its band opens at C$100, so a C$25 or C$50 Uber card has no published rate in naira or cedis. No vendor can quote a number the site doesn't print.
If you hold a small Uber card from Canada, keep it or spend it. There is no row to price it against, unlike the C$50 Steam row at ₦37,441.30.
Big Canadian cards are where the money is. A C$500 Steam card fetches ₦374,413 in Nigeria and ₵3,248.51 in Ghana. Xbox prints ₦336,012 and ₵2,915.33 at the same face value. Uber tops out at ₦307,211 and ₵2,665.44.
Middle values scale in a straight line. A C$200 Steam card gets you ₦149,765.20, or ₵1,299.40. The same C$200 on Xbox pays ₦134,404.80 and ₵1,166.13, and on Uber ₦122,884.40 and ₵1,066.18.
The gap between the best and worst C$500 card is ₦67,202. That is more than a C$50 Steam card is worth, so the brand you pick matters more than the day you trade.
One Canadian dollar is worth less than one US dollar, so a CAD band should sit below the matching US band. Two of the three don't sit where you'd expect.
| Card | USD per unit | CAD per unit |
|---|---|---|
| Steam | ₦1,036.84 | ₦748.83 |
| Xbox | ₦998.44 | ₦672.02 |
| Uber | ₦431.82 | ₦614.42 |
Steam runs at 0.7222 of its US band, which is close to the gap between the two currencies. Xbox sits at 0.6731, so a Canadian Xbox card is worth about 7 percent less than the exchange rate implies.
Uber goes the other way. Its Canadian band runs at 1.4229 of the US band, so the Canadian unit pays 42 percent more than the US unit on the same brand. That's unusual, and worth checking on the day you trade.
The practical result for Xbox: a C$100 card gets you ₦67,202.40, while a $100 card gets you ₦99,843.60. Same brand, same paperwork, ₦32,641.20 apart.
For Uber the order flips. A C$100 Uber card fetches ₦61,442, against ₦43,182 for a $100 Uber card. If you hold one of each, sell the Canadian one first.
Online sale works the same way for all three brands. You can sell a gift card online from Lagos, Abuja, Accra or Kumasi, and the code is checked while you wait.
Verification is fast on these three brands. A code check clears in minutes, and quick verification takes 15 to 30 minutes on a first trade. Fast payment follows by bank transfer or MoMo, which matters in Abuja and Kumasi.
Before any of that, glance at today's rates. The naira reference line moved from ₦1,360 on 27 October to ₦1,346 on 4 November, so a quote you saved last week is already out of date.
No. The Uber CAD band opens at C$100, so a C$50 card has no published rate. Steam and Xbox both take C$50.
Yes. A C$100 Steam card pays ₦74,882.60, while a $100 Steam card pays ₦103,683.80. The gap is close to 0.72 to 1, the usual Canadian to US dollar gap.
The two boards move together but print different numbers. A C$100 Steam card pays ₵649.70 in Ghana and ₦74,882.60 in Nigeria on the same day.
Open the card page linked from the rate table and look for the CAD row under the card name. If there's no CAD row, that brand doesn't buy Canadian cards yet.
Canadian cards are a small corner of a board that lists five currencies. Three brands take them, one table prices them, and the table changes without warning. The C$500 Steam card alone is worth ₦374,413 today, so it pays to check the row before you agree a price.
