Sell Foot Locker Gift Cards in Nigeria: What $100 to $500 Pays in Naira

Oct 18, 2026, 02:21 AM | 5 views

A $100 Foot Locker card pays ₦101,265 on the GiftCash NG board this morning. A $500 card pays ₦506,324. That works out to ₦1,012.65 for every dollar on the card, which is more than Amazon, eBay or Target pay right now on the same table.

Here's the full band, the cards it beats, and the rule that catches anyone holding a $50 card: the table starts at $100, so smaller balances need a quote instead of a printed figure.

What a Foot Locker card pays in Nigeria today

The board was captured on 18 October 2026 at 10:09 CST. Foot Locker prints a single naira band from $100 to $500, the same way the other dollar cards print theirs.

Face valueWhat you getNaira per $1
$100₦101,265₦1,012.65
$200₦202,529.60₦1,012.65
$300₦303,794.40₦1,012.65
$500₦506,324₦1,012.65

The $100 and $500 rows are printed on the page. The two middle rows come from dividing the top of the band by $500 and multiplying by the face value, so a naira or two of rounding can creep in if you do the sum yourself.

That ₦1,012.65 is 76% of the ₦1,332 reference line the rates page shows for one dollar. It sounds low. It's actually normal here. No gift card on the board touches the reference line, and the best one, the top Apple and iTunes band, reaches 84.7% of it. If a trader quotes you ₦1,300 for a dollar of Foot Locker balance, the number isn't generous, it's invented.

Where Foot Locker sits on the board

Thirty-seven card types print a price today across 53 bands. Twenty-three of those cards carry a dollar line, and Foot Locker lands in the upper half of that group.

CardNaira per $1A $200 card pays
Apple and iTunes (top band)₦1,128.57₦225,714
one4all₦1,092.59₦218,518.80
Lululemon₦1,052.62₦210,524.40
Foot Locker₦1,012.65₦202,529.60
Target₦786.13₦157,226.80
Amazon₦652.89₦130,578.40
Xbox₦458.36₦91,671.20

Seven card names pay more per dollar than Foot Locker does today, and two of those seven are Apple and iTunes, which carry identical figures on this table. Everything else sits below it.

Read the Lululemon and Nordstrom rows before you sell a large balance. Both pay ₦1,052.62, about ₦40 more per dollar than Foot Locker, and both sit in the same $100 to $500 range. A $500 Lululemon card pays ₦526,311 against ₦506,324 for the same face value at Foot Locker, a gap of ₦19,987.

The rest of the retail group is further down than most sellers expect. Target pays ₦786.13 per dollar and Amazon pays ₦652.89, so a $200 Foot Locker card is worth about ₦72,000 more than a $200 Amazon card this morning. Xbox is the floor at ₦458.36, which is why console cards feel cheap next to retail ones.

The $100 floor and the $500 ceiling

The band starts at $100. A $25 or $50 Foot Locker card isn't on the table at all, so it goes through a manual quote rather than a printed rate. That catches people out, because small Foot Locker cards are the ones that arrive as gifts from relatives abroad.

Nothing is lost, though. The rates page simply can't price a band it doesn't print, and the quote desk prices the card on what's left on it. What you lose is the ability to check the offer against a public number before you accept it.

The ceiling works the same way. A $600 or $1,000 balance goes to a manual quote, because the printed band stops at $500. If you're holding that much, sell in one go rather than splitting it, since each submission gets its own verification.

One more thing about the board: Foot Locker is the only sneaker retailer on it. Nike and Adidas don't print a rate on this site at all, so a Nike card is a quote from start to finish. Nike gift card exchange covers what those offers look like. If you have both brands in hand, sell the Foot Locker one against the table and treat the Nike one as a negotiation.

How to sell a Foot Locker card

  1. Open the Foot Locker page and pick the band that matches your balance.
  2. Send the code, or photos of both faces if the card is plastic, through the contact form or WhatsApp. Say whether it's a US or a UK card, because region decides which row applies.
  3. Accept the figure and submit. Verification usually clears in 15 to 30 minutes.
  4. Take the payout into a Nigerian bank account, or into OPay, PalmPay or Kuda if you'd rather not wait for a bank window.

Balance checks matter more than the brand here. A $100 card with $40 left prices at the $40 rate, not at ₦101,265, and telling the desk it's a $100 card only delays the payout while someone works out which figure is real. Scratched codes and cards already redeemed get refused, and no rate fixes that.

Speed is a separate question from price. If you need the money today, instant payout explains the 15 to 30 minute route and where it slows down on weekends.

Questions people ask

How much is a $100 Foot Locker card in naira? ₦101,265 on the 18 October 2026 board, which is ₦1,012.65 per dollar.

Can I sell a $50 Foot Locker card? Not from the table. The band opens at $100, so a $50 balance goes to a manual quote. Send it in and you'll get a figure, just not a published one.

Is Foot Locker worth more than Amazon in Nigeria? Yes, and by a wide margin. ₦1,012.65 per dollar against ₦652.89, so a $200 card pays ₦202,529.60 at Foot Locker and ₦130,578.40 at Amazon.

Does the Ghana board pay the same? No, and the two aren't comparable in raw amounts. The Ghana version prices the same card in cedis, and the cedis rate moves on its own schedule.

Why do dollar cards pay less than the reference line? Because the reference line is a currency rate, not a card rate. All 23 dollar cards sit under it today, and the strongest of them reaches 84.7% of it. A trader quoting above ₦1,332 for a dollar of balance is worth checking against the scam patterns list, and the currency guide explains why a card's printed currency changes the price at all.

Check the Foot Locker row on the live rates page before you accept a figure. The band moves, and this morning's ₦1,012.65 per dollar is a snapshot, not a promise.
