A $100 Nordstrom or Lululemon gift card pays ₦105,256 on the GiftCash NG board today. The same $100 in Target pays ₦78,609.
Five fashion and beauty stores print a dollar rate, and the spread across that group is ₦26,647 on an identical face value. In cedis it runs from ₵921.21 down to ₵687.99. Every figure below came off the live board at 10:09 CST on 19 October 2026, when the naira reference line sat at ₦1,332 to the dollar.
| Card | Naira | Cedis |
|---|---|---|
| Nordstrom | ₦105,256 | ₵921.21 |
| Lululemon | ₦105,256 | ₵921.21 |
| Sephora | ₦99,927 | ₵874.57 |
| Macy's | ₦97,262 | ₵851.25 |
| Target | ₦78,609 | ₵687.99 |
Nordstrom and Lululemon sit on top and they pay the same number, to the naira and to the cedi. Sephora lands ₦5,329 below them, Macy's ₦7,994 below. Then the floor drops. Target is ₦18,653 under Macy's, the widest single step in the group.
The order holds in cedis too, which matters if you're selling in Accra rather than Lagos. Nordstrom and Lululemon fetch ₵921.21, Sephora ₵874.57, Macy's ₵851.25, Target ₵687.99. Top to bottom is ₵233.22.
Two more fashion names are on the board but don't belong in that table. Arcteryx opens at $500, so a $100 card has no printed figure at all and needs a quote; its band runs to $1,000 and the top end pays ₦786,089. H&M is priced in pounds only, £100 to £500, and ₦1,159.15 per pound is a different currency, so it can't be lined up against the dollar numbers above.
Per dollar, Nordstrom and Lululemon pay ₦1,052.56, Sephora ₦999.27, Macy's ₦972.62, Target ₦786.09. Multiply any of those by the face value and you get the payout.
In cedis the same line reads ₵9.21 for Nordstrom and Lululemon, ₵8.75 for Sephora, ₵8.51 for Macy's, ₵6.88 for Target. Ghana has no published dollar reference line, so the cedi column is the only figure to plan against if you're selling in Accra.
Four of the five sit inside ₦8,000 of each other. That's close enough to treat as one tier. Target is alone at the bottom, ₦18,653 below Macy's, and it prints the same per-dollar rate as Arcteryx, ₦786.09.
A card rate is an offer, not a published exchange rate. The board doesn't explain how each one is set, and anyone who tells you they know the exact formula is guessing. What you can act on is the order. Which store is printed on the card moves your payout by a third on the same $100 balance.
None of the five is the best payer on the whole board. Apple and iTunes pay ₦111,918 for a $100 card, ₦1,119.18 per dollar, which clears Nordstrom by ₦6,662. So if there's an Apple card in the same drawer, sell that one first.
Every card in this group runs one band from $100 to $500. The rate is flat across the whole band, with no step-up at the top and no bump at the bottom. A $200 Nordstrom card pays ₦210,512 and a $500 card pays ₦526,280, which is the top of the band.
| Card | $200 pays | $500 pays |
|---|---|---|
| Nordstrom | ₦210,512 | ₦526,280 |
| Lululemon | ₦210,512 | ₦526,280 |
| Sephora | ₦199,853 | ₦499,633 |
| Macy's | ₦194,524 | ₦486,310 |
| Target | ₦157,218 | ₦393,045 |
Two $100 Sephora cards pay ₦199,854. One $200 card pays ₦199,853. Same money, one naira apart from rounding, so there's nothing to gain by holding a balance and waiting for it to grow.
The band floor cuts the other way. A $50 Nordstrom card has no printed rate because the band starts at $100. Send the card details and you'll get a figure before you commit, but don't expect the $100 rate to apply to it.
Nordstrom
Band $100 to $500. A $100 card pays ₦105,256 or ₵921.21, the joint best rate in the group, and the rate is flat all the way up.
Lululemon
Band $100 to $500. $100 pays ₦105,256 or ₵921.21, identical to Nordstrom down to the naira. The two cards are priced as one tier.
Sephora
Band $100 to $500. $100 pays ₦99,927 or ₵874.57, about ₦5,329 under the top pair. Only Nordstrom and Lululemon pay more.
Macy's
Band $100 to $500. $100 pays ₦97,262 or ₵851.25. A partly used Macy's card gets rejected, so confirm the full balance before you send the code.
Target
Band $100 to $500. $100 pays ₦78,609 or ₵687.99, the lowest of the five. A $500 Target card still clears ₦393,045, so size doesn't fix the gap.
The naira reference line today is ₦1,332 to the dollar. No fashion card gets near it. Nordstrom reaches 79.0% of the line, Target 59.0%, and the best dollar card for a $100 balance, Apple, reaches 84.0%.
So when a WhatsApp seller offers ₦1,150 for every dollar on a Nordstrom card, run the numbers. That's ₦115,000 for a $100 card, 9.3% above the ₦105,256 the board actually pays and 86.3% of the official dollar rate. It sounds like a small premium. It isn't a price anyone buys at, and the offer exists to get your code first.
The same test works in cedis. ₵921.21 is what $100 of Nordstrom pays. An offer of ₵1,000 for that card is 8.6% over the top of the market, and nobody pays that for a card they could buy at the printed rate.
Open the card page, check the figure against the table above, then send the code. Payment goes to a Nigerian bank account, or to MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash or AT Money in Ghana. Most trades clear in 15 to 30 minutes.
If the code fails verification you aren't charged and the card comes back to you. That matters more than a few hundred naira when the card is a gift you can't easily replace.
Rates move daily. The whole board, 37 card types across 53 price bands in both currencies, sits on the live rates page, and that page updates before any article on this site does.
Nordstrom and Lululemon, both at ₦105,256 for $100 and ₦1,052.56 per dollar. Apple and iTunes still beat them at ₦111,918 for the same $100 card, so that's the top of the group, not the top of the board.
No. All five bands start at $100. A $50 card needs a quote, and the figure you get may differ from the per-dollar rate in this article.
Not on these cards. One band per card means the rate is flat from $100 to $500, so a $500 card pays exactly five times a $100 card and nothing more.
